So the Can has room for new people.
I know right! It’s exciting.
We pop spaces open every month or two – and today during the store re-jig I really felt strongly the time was NOW for new people to join in the fun.
This shop is a dream! If you are creative – we are your shop front.
It’s low cost for you – and the best bit – we do all the work for you (once you’ve made your stuff) All you have to do price it, tag it, bring it in, post your ass off on social media about it being in, and pop in every week or so and check your stock! EASY! We do the rest. We joosh it, sell it, wrap it, post it, wind up the accounts (I’m totes horrific on this – so you need patience and just to pop in) and pimp it out on social media! Oh yes – you may have noticed that just by being here!
We also encourage coffee drinking next door, holding workshops, guest blogging, helping in the store to ‘market test’ new things and just gossip with the crowds of shoppers and handmade admirers.. and bringing all your friends here to do all their buying!
If you are thinking ‘WOAH YES’ then pop in – 9 to 2 weekdays, 9 to 1 Saturdays (boutique hours, for a boutique store) and check out our range and our feel. Also – consider yourself my secret shopper and give us feedback on how you felt and how it all went.
You need to know we don’t double up on items. We do LOVE wild, crazy, quirky, and quality items.. You need to be prepared to rotate stock to keep everything ‘fresh’ and partipiate in impromptue wine tastings when we have time.. and wine. You can bring wine..
We also have a facebook group for handmade support. Training when we can organise it to support your business. Great ideas – and lots of sharing! And I might add a monthly top sellers awards – just to get you thinking about being competitive and sell sell selling!!
